About

I spent 36 years as a manuscript editor and course developer for Ohio University. My job was to help faculty adapt their classroom courses for correspondence students and online students. Actually, I retired after 30 years, but didn’t crunch the numbers as to what I’d need in retirement.* After 17 months of freedom, I had to go back to work at the same job, at the same desk, for 6 more years. A tad demoralizing.

AFTER I FINALLY retired, and after spending almost 4 decades editing what instructors wrote, I decided that I would work on my writing.

I obviously love photography and writing. I have a rose garden and raise orchids. Also, I started painting (canvases, not houses) a couple of years ago. I’m an unapologetic morning person.

I have been married for over 40 years and have 2 grown children. I hope you enjoy what I create.
